Our hands-on STEM activities are designed for preschool and early elementary students to explore science, engineering, and robotics in a fun, safe, and engaging way. During Early Ed Day visits, students work in small groups to build, experiment, and play while learning basic concepts such as balance, motion, energy, and teamwork.
Activities include:
Marshmallow Towers: Build towers with spaghetti and marshmallows to explore shapes, stability, and cooperation
Catch a Rainbow: Watch colors move in milk with soap to learn about liquids and cause-and-effect
Catapults: Launch mini marshmallows to discover push, pull, and stored energy in a safe, hands-on way
EV3 Robot Challenges: Drive pre-built LEGO robots through simple races and obstacle courses to learn about programming, motion, and problem-solving
Each activity encourages curiosity, creativity, and group collaboration, giving young learners a memorable introduction to STEM in action.
